Involve (part of Martin Dawes Group) is a UK expert in the design, implementation and support of manufacturer neutral, visual collaboration solutions to both the public (incl. Ministry of Justice, Welsh Government, NHS) and numerous private sector organisations.

 

Responsible for establishing a demanding Programme Delivery department as well as maintaining several existing departments, incl., Service, IT and compliance.

 

·      Successfully established and lead a 'Programme Management Office' and its associated pool of resource/expertise to deliver several multi-million pound programmes of work to over 600 Ministry of Justice (MoJ) sites throughout the UK.

·      Successfully modernised a market leading multi-site ‘Service’ department, incl. the commissioning of a new Secure Network Operations Centre (sNOC) and achieving ISO/IEC 20,000-1 Service Management accreditation.

·      Successfully upgraded the IT network infrastructure at several sites throughout the UK and migration of all communication services to a new data centre.

Responsible for establishing and managing a high profile Programme Management Office that has enabled TCS to transition (and modernise) the existing 'Criminal Records Bureau' systems from the outgoing incumbent supplier to TCS (a £350 million programme).

 

·      Successfully established, implemented and lead a 'Programme Management Office' and its associated pool of resource/expertise.

·      Successfully defined, implemented and policed a structured governance framework.

·      Maintained a positive client/supplier relationship for all key stakeholders through accurate, appropriate and timely communications.

·      Supported both the Transition and Modernisation Project Directors to deliver market leading solutions and technologies.

 

DWP (Child Maintenance Service/CSA) account - Mar 2009 - Aug 2012

Programme Manager,

 

Fulfilled several senior managerial rolls throughout the life cycle of the programme; from 'Head of PMO' to 'Delivery Manager', that enabled TCS to develop and replace the existing 'Child Support Agency' solution (a £50 million programme).

 

·      Successfully delivered several integrated business solutions ranging from; Siebel (CRM/ DMS), TCS BaNCS (core banking solution), IBM WebSphere's; Process Server (SOA), Portal Server (Website) & DataPower (external comms), Adobe Correspondence Management Solution (correspondence) & IBM Tivoli Access Manager (security).

·      Successfully analysed, designed and delivered over 13,000 individual 'green field' business requirements (and their associated business processes) using a combination of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies in a politically sensitive environment.

·      Successfully implemented a joint client/supplier 'Project Management Office (PMO)' including defining the 'project implementation methodology' and associated governance.

Senior Project Manager/Business Change Manager,

 

Positioned as a Senior Project Manager reporting directly to Phones4u’s steering committee, successfully managing various large/complex organisation wide IT and business projects, encompassing 450 separate locations and utilizing an onshore/offshore operating model.

 

·      Successfully replaced several disparate ERP solutions with a single integrated organisation wide ERP/CRM solution; Oracle E-Business Suite/Siebel/Fusion.

·      Successfully implemented Oracle HRMS/Payroll (incl. the creation of a dedicated training programme) to over 7200+ employees at 450 locations around the UK.

·      Successfully managed the implementation of various Business and IT related projects throughout all facets of the organisation to enhance/streamline profitability.

·      Successfully implemented numerous organisation wide Business Change Programmes by embracing key senior personnel from all aspects of the organisation to secure full cooperation and involvement.

Positioned as a global project manager reporting directly to Global Head of IT, managing the extensive roll out of 3 large global IT replacement projects; ERP, CRM & E-Mail.

 

·      Established a dedicated team of 22 to replace several disparate ailing ERP solutions and replaced them with a single global integrated £2.2m ERP LN6/BAAN solution.

·      Successfully managed the global rollout and migration of Salesforce.com CRM.

·      Successfully managed the global rollout and migration of Microsoft Exchange.
